Hazel Neser
Trainer qualifications or background:
Hazel has a background in psychology and counselling. Her particular
areas of expertise are in the fields of loss, change and grief as
the result of illness and bereavement, palliative education,
developmental psychology and special education. Hazel has taught in
a variety of roles within the secondary school and tertiary
environments. She is currently teaching Behavioral Science to
trainee radiation therapists and Human Development and
Behaviour to police officers.

Trainer background:
Meera has been a teacher and school counsellor for many years. She
is currently in private practice as a counsellor, working
predominantly with adults, counselling individuals, couples and
groups. She is also contracts to Skylight as a trainer/ facilitator
for the Travellers programme and Increasing the Bounce.

situations such as bullying, loss of a friend and family separation.
This course implements different resources with a combination of
interactive tools, books and research based theory to provide a
range of information to help guide young children through
difficulties.
