Bigfoot Adventures Ltd has been running successful adventure activities for over ten years. We specialise in 'Education Outside the Classroom' for years 5 to 13 with in-school programmes & camps. We aim to provide safe, fun outdoor experiences for schools, businesses and the general public.

Combining outdoor education with adventure activities
Set amongst the stunning rock formations south east of Te Awamutu, CastleRock Adventure is the perfect venue for your school camp.
CastleRock Adventure has multiple accommodation options including a fully equipped self contained Lodge, a fully equipped Woolshed and Camping as overflow from the Woolshed or as part of a programme.

Glentui Meadows Group Accommodation
Glentui Meadows, nestled in a native beech forest 50 minutes from Christchurch airport, is the perfect setting for school, sport, conference, wedding and special-interest groups. We can accommodate up to 165 people – from self-contained apartments to bunk rooms. Your stay can be fully catered or self-catered in our commercial kitchen. Activities for you and/or your group include: canyoning, abseiling, zipline, orienteering, archery, team building and bush walks. Our complex also boasts two large conference rooms and a large dining hall.

Kokako Lodge is Auckland's leading EOTC venue. The 85-bed residential camp is situated at the foothills of the Hunua Ranges Regional Park (Auckland's largest park, at around 17,000 ha). Kokako Lodge is an ideal place for many different user groups from school & youth groups through to corporate and wedding groups. Services and activities include: UNIT Standard Assessment, High and Low Ropes, Abseiling, Kayaking, Raft Building, Tramping & Camping, Bushcraft & Survival Skills, Archery, Team Building, Orienteering & Expeditions.

Makahika Outdoor Pursuit Centre
The Makahika Outdoor Pursuit Centre is set among the forests and native bush in the foothills of the Tararua Ranges, 1.5 hours from Wellington, or 45 minutes from Palmerston North. We cater for school groups from Year 3 to Year 13.
Makahika writes and designs your school camp programme; provides full Risk Assessment Management System (RAMS), offers a range of accommodation options (up to 140 per group), and provides fantastic fresh catering.
Most importantly we are a registered Adventure Activities Provider subject to annual external audits; all activities are supervised by industry qualified instructors. We develop a programme specific to your group needs, that aligns with your school values and learning outcomes for the year. The skills acquired on camp and programmes are "accumulative"; ensuring you can return yearly.
We are also a licensed Award Unit for the Duke of Edinburgh's Hillary Award.
