My name is Catherine Boyd-Bell and I'm a vibrant, energetic teacher with a great sense of humour and a passion for creativity. Aside from my primary teaching qualification, I also have experience as a teacher of English as a second language and drama to a variety of age ranges and I speak fluent Spanish!

I have now been in New Zealand for six months and am ready to re-establish my teaching career out here, having taught in the UK for 5 years. I have classroom and relief teaching experience across the primary years and am most experienced and specialised in teaching the junior age group. Most of my classroom teaching jobs have been with the new entrants as I enjoy watching the very rapid progress pupils make in this year and helping to encourage each child to make a smooth transition into school life. I have a BTEC National diploma in Early Years and a BA (Hons) in Primary Education from England and these qualifications have been assessed by the NZQA as comparable to level 7. I am currently working at Blockhouse Bay Primary as a Long Term Reliever and my contract ends end of this term. I would like relieving within West Auckland area and prepared to travel out of West Auckland if needed. The Y4-6 level group is particularly appealing to me, because students are very impressionable, interesting in learning, and open to new concepts. Hi I have just finished teacher training through Waikato University. I am in my 40s and I have two children of my own and four step daughters. All the children are still at school. I worked as a builder for twenty years before I did teacher training. So, I have an interest in technology - hard materials but also food, as I do most of the cooking at home. My name is Victoria Solley, I have completed a graduate diploma in primary level teaching and learning at University of Canterbury in April (2011). I moved to Hamilton recently and am looking for work in the education system. While at Teacher's College I completed 3, 5 week placements. The first was in a year 5/6 classroom, the second was a year 2 classroom and the final was in a year 7/8 classroom, all three were fantastic learning experiences.

I am a very organised person, I believe in setting high expectations for children but also creating a safe environment where as long as they have put forth their best effort then they haven't failed.

I have just completed my Bachelor of Education (Primary) and would love the opportunity to do relief work in Tauranga. I have a passion for Drama, Outdoor education and Visual Arts. I am able to pick up and run with current plans or use my own programme. I am working for YMCA in the afternoons and am available to relieve in the mornings (perhaps if a staff member has a morning course or is away for part of the day).

I am currently taking 9 classes a week at Paengaroa School. I teach individuals at home. I am a qualified music Teacher with the Modern School of Music, but teach on my own behalf, as a self-employed contractor, GST Registered, for an hourly rate. I can teach a group of 10 on my own, or classrooms with the supervision of their teacher. I can teach classroom Marimba, Recorder, Harmonica, Ukulele, and all aspects of the music curriculum . I completed my Grad Dip last August and have since been relieving at several schools around Christchurch. I have worked in the film & advertising industries and live with my wife and two teenage children in Avonhead. I really enjoy teaching and would welcome some long term relieving.

I am an enthusiastic, outgoing family man who has completed a graduate diploma in teaching and learning (primary at the University of Canterbury at the end of 2010. I am a balanced individual with excellent motivation and communication skills, which enable me to form positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
