Name: Jessica Khouri

jlkhouri@yahoo.com
Introductory:
I have a passion for working with children - seeing them develop and
grow academically, socially and emotionally. I work hard to provide a
caring, positive and supportive learning environment where children can
engage in child-centered programmes. I believe the core subjects of
literacy and numeracy are the building blocks for learning, creating a
pathway for learning in other areas of the curriculum. I am convinced
that helping children understand that they can make a positive
difference to their own futures by applying learned skills in everyday
situations is an important part of their education.
I am confident, hard working, a team player and enjoy working
cooperatively with colleagues. An organized and methodical person who
pays attention to detail, I am certain that effective communication is
vital between teachers and parents.
The relationships I build with your students and colleagues are vital in
my teaching practice. This is aided by my excellent communication
skills, knowledge and warm, caring manner.
Strategic goal setting is important in teaching and in life; I make it a
priority to set short and long-term goals in order to achieve specific
objectives in my own teaching practices and for the students in their
academic process. This philosophy is integrated into my approach to
teaching. I consider myself a highly reflective practitioner, naturally
introspective and I think deeply on your own teaching practices.
I am always careful to be on time for appointments and meet deadlines,
and take great pride in being honest, responsible, reliable and loyal.
My teaching qualification, personal qualities and traditional work ethic
in combination with my empathetic nature make me a valuable asset to any
school. |
