Stuck In The Muck by Craig Smith and Brett Avison

Nobody quite knows how Milky, the pet cow got stuck in the mud, but one thing is for certain, it is going to be a tough job to get her out. Just like the previous book by Brett Avison and Craig Smith (A Bigger Digger), more and more machinery is called in to help and there is a surprise pop-up twist at the end.

This is another picture book that will appeal particularly to boys who like machinery, but in this book the machines make less progress than they did in A Bigger Digger. The results are still finny and the illustrations convey the story well.
