Moya wrote Let Me Whisper You My Story in commemoration of Anna Parnas, the mother of one of Moya’s friends and one of the many who died in the Holocaust. It tells of the war from the point of view of a German Jewish girl and show’s its impact on ordinary people. It is a story of human kindness and self-sacrifice, of despair and hope. It gives today’s nine to thirteen year-olds a sense of the social injustice that occurred at the hands of the Nazis in Germany and of the persecution of innocent and ordinary citizens. It is a powerful read.
