Now is the third and last book in the series about Felix and follows on from Once and Then. In these two books, Felix is ten years old and struggling to survive in Nazi-occupied Poland. He and his dearest friend Zelda are caught up in the Holocaust.

Now is set in the present day. Felix is now a grandfather and has achieved much in his life. He is also widely admired in the community. He has also mostly buried the painful memories of his childhood but they resurface when his grand-daughter, Zelda comes to visit him.

Together they face a cataclysmic event armed only with their gusto and love. It is an event that helps them achieve salvation from the past but also brings the possibility of destruction. Now is an exciting climax to the series, but is written in such a way that you don’t need to have read the previous books to understand this one nor will reading this book spoil the plots of the other ones in the series if Now is read first. As with the rest of the series, it makes readers more aware of what happened in the Holocaust and hopefully will inspire readers to research more about the events of the Second World War.
