It is 1895 and after the death of her
mother, 16 year old Gemma Doyle is shipped from her life in India to
attend Spence, a finishing school in England. Lonely, gilt ridden
and prone top visions of the future, Gemma finds her reception a
chilling one. She also finds that her visions of the future have the
uncanny knack of coming true. She is also not completely alone, as
she is being followed by a mysterious young man who has been sent to
